Greetings readers! It is now nearing the end of the fall semester and I am 1.5 finals away from a month of freedom! A lot is riding on this semester. I am applying into the Journalism School but in ordered to be considered, I need to get a cumulative 3.0gpa, which I am disgustingly close to having. I have worked very hard to get the best grades that I can so it would give me that extra "push" I need for admission. Let's keep our fingers crossed!
In other news, I am on my way to creating my first book. I am still brainstorming whether or not to just have a collection of particular subject matter or all of my current artworks/photos. Decisions, decisions! I guess a personal deadline I am setting myself to have the book published is by the end of January. I hope, in addition to pictures, to include my favorite quotes and stories in these pages to share with my readers. Its going to be a lot of fun and awesome to see when it is completed.
Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the highlight of my month. My mixed media piece "Main Attraction" I created for my 2D Design class got accepted into the WHAT'S NEXT Juried Undergraduate Exhibition in Peoria, IL! It will be showing from January 3rd to February 4th, so if you will be driving through Illinois, stop by Bradley University and check me out! This will be my first gallery showing ever, so I am pretty stoked!
Well, I better get to bed so I can be at work on time tomorrow!
