Howdy y'all! Just letting you know that I am still here and still watching all you. Since school started, I have been absolutely SWAMPED with work from school, my part-time job, and volunteering every week. But I have decided to let you all in a very ironic thing that happened to me yesterday since I don't have any art (yet!) to show for my absence.

A week or so ago, I had applied for an internship at a small design company in downtown. I got the interview and the girl told me that I should be hearing back from them by Monday. So I get the call Monday and find out that I was chosen for the internship. So I'm sitting on a cloud for the rest of my classes...

Until I get to the commuter lot where my car is. As I walk up to my car, I notice that I have a flat tire. (Now a couple weeks ago, I lent my roommate my lug nut wrench and JUST got it returned and my dad JUST taught me how to change a tire. Keep this in mind.) So, I get on the phone with my dad and he coaches me through the tire-changing process. I get it changed and ride the doughnut about 50 yards until it deflates while I am on the busiest street at rush hour. Then I had to call a tow truck and haul my car to a Wal-mart. And you can probably guess the rest plus I missed my Econ exam review.

So yeah, ironic. But at least I got the internship.
